The idea of sharing different cultures with the younger generations has to do with the contemporary perception that there is a larger community than the country of origin, where everyone is included and all contribute to its transformation.

By fostering dialogue between people from different countries who will share their own heritage, languages and traditions, in an environment that encourages diversity and mutual understanding, we believe that the international dimension applied as a learning tool will expand this spirit of inclusion, making the learning process much easier and fun. It was on these principles of tolerance and inclusion that Gaiac initiated his participation in EVS.

Volunteers learn to work with and through non-formal education, so that they can create their own ways of sharing cultures and present them in a variety of ways, adapting to the groups in which they are inserted, and promoting other narrative presentation devices, such as portfolio of activities, puppets, theater, among others.

Contact between volunteers and different Gaiac target groups, in different organizational structures that work through formal and non-formal education will bring the possibilities of EVS and Erasmus + to a wide range of social multipliers, opening doors to participation of other young people in these programs.

This project is also intended to contribute to a greater dynamism of the Drums for Peace network through new contributions to reflect on best practices and new methods of intervention, and also to contact new organizations that will allow not only the establishment of new partnerships as well as the expansion of the objectives of the network and its partnerships.
